Take Me To My Grave

You'll take me to my grave, with no remorse. A poem.

You will be the death of me, this we both know.

you will be the death of me

this we both know

being with you

is like drinking poison

you don’t know you’re sick

until you’re dead

my spirit is withering

failing to stay whole

and you aren’t the remedy

but you say you are

through my veins you run

you are the drug

and i am the addict

the addict that can’t quit

and you don’t want me to

you’ll take me to my grave

with no remorse

and you’ll stand there and ask

is it really so bad

when you feel so good?
