Take me away to the orange-roofed place

Where bigger is better

And life takes up space

Take me away to the home I long for

Where everything is quaint

And I couldn’t want more

Take me away to the land I love

That reminds of dreams

And the things I’m sure of

Take me away to the idyllic town

That’s just picture perfect

In a burnt sienna crown

Take me away to the puzzled village

Where my mind is free

From secular spillage

Take me away to the dire vacation

Where I try to sleep

Tethered to the space station

Take me away to the orange-roofed place

Where I’ve never been but

Won’t leave a trace.
