Just be.

The silence of the darkness began to caress my soul.

Take a deep breath and return to the living.

Slumber slowly leaving and my awareness awakens.

Take a deep breath and welcome the day.

Lofty memories of the night's dreams visit for a moment.

Take a deep breath and shake away confusion of the visions.

With a tug of the blankets and shift of my body, I resisted.

Take a deep breath and silence the alarm clock.

The smell of coffee loft up the steps to call me downstairs.

Take a deep breath and speak gratitude for deeds done.

The battle of will and the blankets wane.

Take a deep breath and win your first battle of the day.

Hoisted meat from the sheets and grumble about age.

Take a deep breath and thank the universe for another day.

Left slipper then the right protect me from the cold bathroom tiles.

Take a deep breath and accept their soft protection.

A shuffle through the house advancing on the kitchen.

Take a deep breath to expel the foggy morning brain.

A creaking cabinet door reveals the morning vessel.

Take a deep breath and choose the perfect cup.

A smile as the darkened water trickles into the cup.

Take a deep breath to steady old shaking hands.

A "tink" of the spoon after it blends the contents just right.

Take a deep breath and taste the nectar of the gods.

A blink to focus on the morning sun.

Take a deep breath and feel the love from nature.

A shiver and shuffle to the easy chair.

Take a deep breath and feel the support and softness.

A yawn a stretch threaten the cup's stability.

Take a deep breath and remind the muscles who is in charge.

One sip, two sips, three sips awaken the brain.

Take a deep breath as daily duties rush in.

Minutes pass and day is perfectly planned.

Take a deep breath and take charge of the day.

A glance at the clock and a rush to dress.

Take a deep breath to be kind to one's self.

Door opens and the sun's light blind you.

Take a deep breath and feel it's warmth.

Eyes adjust and views the world.

Take a deep breath and greet the world in a positive way.
