Song Lyrics
Where Have They Gone?
I signed up in November 2051 Thinking I'd write some stories here and have some fun And now I can't help wondering just what you've done. Oh, no. Oh, no! You took away our links to help we held so dear The humans with a welcome, sympathetic ear. You've left us dangling after a kick in the rear, You know? You know. What happened to them? We felt we knew them! Vocal killed off their own support team Leaving us here to flounder and scream. It must be just some sort of bad dream. No, no, uh uh, oh,no! What do we do with all this creativity When things go wrong and there's no answer we can see? How do we cope? There's no hope for humanity. We're doomed. We're doomed. We'd protest, but there's no one there to hear our pleas. Where is the team that helped to put our minds at ease When we'd exhausted other possibilities? They need exhumed! They need exhumed! It's existential. They were essential! Vocal killed off their own support team Leaving us here to flounder and scream. Vocal's the crop and they are the cream! Let's go! Uh, huh, ah, oh! So, here we are, creators you've abandoned thus. Unable to report, retort, or make a fuss, And where would Vocal be if there were none of us By choice? By choice. Perhaps we're outgrown, you've simply amassed so much You can afford to leave us and stay out of touch? Remember, even if you're thinking such, Our voice. Our voice! Don't dare to doubt it, For we will shout it: Vocal killed off their own support team Leaving us here to flounder and scream. Without support, you'll soon lose the dream. We've been here for you, But we don't have to. You know, oh, oh, oh, oh. It's so, oh, oh, oh, oh!

“Light Over the Earth”
“Light Over the Earth” Today a world of peace Is being turned into a world of grief, Grief for the division of light As shadows rise and try to steal the night. But even when the darkness grows, A brighter truth still softly glows. I send light, I send love, I send peace from up above. Let it rise, Let it release, Let it calm this trembling earth And bring our weary hearts relief. Darkness tries to build its throne, A fortress made of fear and stone. Despair is a sadness that doesn’t care It pulls the spirit into heavy air. But light can spark, ignite, and climb, Breaking walls one truth at a time. I send light, I send love, I send peace from up above. Let it rise, Let it release, Let it calm this trembling earth And bring our weary hearts relief. Despite the cultures built on spite, Despite the wounds that steal our sight, Despite the hate that tries to reign, Love still walks through every pain. Light remembers what we forgot We heal the world by what we’ve got. I send light, I send love, I send peace from up above. Let it rise, Let it release, Let it wash across the earth And bring our weary hearts relief I send light… I send love… I send peace.
