I am waiting for you
In the stillness of the night, I wait for you As shadows dance and stars shine through My heart beats like a drum, a steady thrum For in your presence, my soul finds its home I wait for you with bated breath, Each moment a small dance with agony The anticipation, the sweet agony Of longing for your love, endlessly Will you come to me, like a gentle breeze, Whispering secrets among the trees? Or will you stay hidden, a distant star, Leaving me alone to wonder from afar? I am waiting for you, in the silence and the dark, Hoping to ignite the flame of our spark My soul calls out to yours, a silent plea Come to me, my love, and set me free.
