Performance Poetry is poetry out loud; poems brought from the page to the stage.
Our Kindled Hearts
Pondering on the life span of a flame leaves one in an existential conundrum. Fire, as strong and intense and boastful as it appears is the most frail thing. The juxtaposition between its intensity and longevity is cruel beyond belief. The fragility of its life, how it’s at the mercy of all other elements, I find endlessly and heartbreakingly fascinating

“How to Stand Out with Confidence and Kindness”
Stand tall, yet let your heart be soft, Lift others’ spirits, not just loft. Confidence is a quiet flame, Not shouted loud, but earned by name. Speak your truth, yet listen deep, Plant good seeds for all to reap. A helping hand, a steady gaze, Turns ordinary into praise. Courage walks with gentle steps, No boastful words or vain preps. Learn to shine in subtle ways, Let actions speak, not flashy plays. Encourage dreams where others doubt, Show your worth through deeds, not shout. Be a beacon in the crowded night, A mix of power and soft light. Each choice you make leaves marks behind, In hearts, in minds, in paths aligned. Stand out not for fame or show, But through the kindness that you grow.

“Ways to Win Respect and Impress People”
Respect is earned, not freely given, Through deeds that show your heart is driven. Integrity guides each step you take, Small actions shape the path you make. Listen close, speak with care, Notice efforts others share. Help without a loud demand, Lift a hand, and take a stand. Promises kept, trust aligned, A humble heart, a thoughtful mind. Walk with courage, act with grace, Let kindness shine on every face. Compliment where merit lies, Acknowledge truth, reject the lies. Confidence paired with calm intent, Impress with deeds, not mere event. Through storms and trials, stay sincere, Respect is built year by year. And in the end, your light will glow, Impressing hearts as they surely know.

“How to Make a Positive Impression on Others”
A smile can open doors unseen, A kind word mends what once had been. Eyes that listen, ears that hear, Can turn a stranger’s doubt to cheer. Walk with calm, yet stand with pride, Let patience be your trusted guide. Hold your thoughts with gentle care, Offer help, and always share. A nod, a gesture, small and bright, Can spark a soul with subtle light. Respect their space, yet show you care, A little warmth is always rare. Speak the truth with gentle voice, Make honesty your lasting choice. Notice strengths where others fail, Lift their hearts, set wind to sail. Moments counted, seconds passed, Kind impressions are made to last. Leave behind a trail of grace, A shining mark time can’t erase.
