Last week our contest was for Haiku and Crab Canon. A few writers thought I meant that the contest winners would combine the two. I didn't mean that, but one was a winner in that category. So we had three categories and three winners with honorable mentions.

Flame Down: Rising Above the Fires Within
Let me tell you something, friend. Life is a fire. It burns, it crackles, it roars. And sometimes, it feels like it’s burning you alive. Stress, anger, pain, regret—these are the flames that lick at your soul, leaving you raw, inflamed, and gasping for air. But here’s the truth: you are not the fire. You are the one who controls it. You are the one who decides whether it consumes you or fuels you.
