An ode to Mother Nature; poems that take their inspiration from the great outdoors.
Under The Sun With Grief.
When the sun is shining and there’s a smile on your face, the one you love is always there. Grief stands under the sun with you and enjoys the warmth, as if the bitterness it usually holds has melted away for just a little while. The smile on your face is a crutch for the grief, allowing the weight of it to disappear.

Fate's Embrace
Sapphire blues glisten in tandem and quiet frostbitten shadows dance while enchanted by the moon's light seeking their once child-like innocence I quiver in the knowing of the sun it's inevitably to become non-existent wondering if it watches the world understanding our eventual similar end Is the ocean and it's untamed nature just its own version of a wild tantrum raising uncontrollable waves with ferocity saying it refuses to be taken as a prisoner Does a sunrise know a moment will come when it will have a last day to share one more beautiful portrait of colors and will the setting of it be like fireworks Whether it be in the near coming future or for us lifetimes and light-years away eventually time itself becomes elusive so look up at the stars with reverent awe
