love poems
Love poems for hopeless romantics; I'm the poet and you're my muse.
WHERE YOU LEFT ME
You found me on a quiet, moonlit night, a time so soft it felt like a sigh. The stars hung low in a sky so deep it seemed endless, and I looked at you and felt the weight of forever press into my chest. In that quiet, you held my hand as though you’d never let go, fingers interwoven with mine like threads that could not be unraveled. You told me that we had time, that there would be mornings and evenings, laughter, warmth, the kind of life you read about but hardly dare to believe is real. And with my heart trembling, I believed you.

Unraveled Threads
We stitched our lives with careful hands, Thread by thread, we’d come to stand, But time wore holes in what we'd made, Soft seams of love began to fray. Promises whispered late at night, Fell silent in the morning light, And though we tried to mend and bind, Loose threads unraveled, undefined. Yet in the gaps, I found some grace, A space that time could not erase. We wove, we wore, we came undone, But left a mark on what we’d spun.

Close, But Worlds Apart
We sit in silence, oceans wide, Yet side by side, with words denied. Our glances meet but drift away, Lost sailors in a common bay. Once, our laughter filled the space, Now shadows dance where light erased. Fingers brush but lack the spark, Two souls adrift in growing dark. Yet in the quiet, something stays, A tether formed of worn-out days. We navigate, though far we seem, Two islands sharing the same dream.

Whiskers' Great Adventure
Once upon a time in a quaint little village, there lived a fluffy, mischievous kitten named Whiskers. Whiskers had soft, cream-colored fur that glowed like the morning sun, and her bright green eyes sparkled with curiosity. She lived in a cozy home with her loving owner, a kind old lady named Mrs. Maple, who spoiled Whiskers with delicious treats and warm snuggles.
