The Space Between Two Hands Almost Touching
There is a silence that hums louder than thunder— the breath between heartbeats, the blink before tears. Fingertips hover, as if the air itself were sacred, as if one more inch might collapse the moment into something too real to take back. We are almost. Not yet. A single gesture from rewriting history. In that space lives everything— the question, the fear, the wanting, the restraint. It is the pause that lovers write sonnets about, the ache between goodbye and don’t go. Two hands, so close, holding the weight of everything unsaid.

I Am Waiting for Your Last Breath
I am waiting for your last breath, Where silence hangs and shadows rest. Each tick of time, a final plea, A whisper lost beneath the sea. Your eyes, once stars, now barely gleam, Caught in the blur of some old dream. Your chest, it rises, soft and slow— A tide that knows it’s time to go. I speak, but words just fall away, Like leaves that drift in cold decay. I begged the night to turn to light, But dawn won’t come to end this fight. Still here I sit, and still you lie, Between the world and one last sigh. If love could hold you, hold you tight, You'd never fade into the night. But breath by breath, you slip from me, A ghost upon a breaking sea. And I, still chained to what we were, Am waiting, lost inside your blur.
