love poems
Love poems for hopeless romantics; I'm the poet and you're my muse.
An Illusion
I found myself caught in a whirlwind of false love. We took trips to beautiful places, dined at the finest restaurants, and indulged in the luxuries of life. On the surface, it seemed perfect. But beneath the glamour, there was an emptiness. It was a half-relationship, filled with moments that looked like love but lacked the depth and sincerity. The gestures were grand, but the connection was shallow. I was wined and dined, yet I felt alone. The promises made were empty, and the affection felt staged. It was a facade, a beautiful illusion that masked the reality of a love that was never truly there.

A Genuine Love
In your eyes, no shadows hide, A love so pure, no need for pride. With every word, you speak your heart, A genuine love, right from the start. No games, no masks, just what is true, In every moment shared with you. Your kindness shines, your warmth is real, A love that’s honest, one we feel. Through every storm and peaceful day, You show your love in simple ways. A heart that’s pure, a soul so bright, In your embrace, the world feels right. A love that’s built on trust and care, A bond so strong, forever there. With you, I find what’s rare and true, A genuine love, in all we do.
