love poems
Love poems for hopeless romantics; I'm the poet and you're my muse.
Morning in the City
The city rests, the night still near, Quiet streets, the sky turns clear. A breeze brings whispers, soft and light, As dawn chases away the night. Darkness fades, the sky turns bright, The sun brings warmth, a gentle light. Windows glow, the world stirs fast, The quiet night now fades to past. Life begins, the sounds grow loud, Footsteps echo, soft but proud. Birds take wing, a new day drawn, Welcome to the city’s dawn. Conditional Love
I love you when the skies are clear, When smiles are bright and joy is near. In moments sweet, when all aligns, Our love is strong, our hearts entwined. But when the winds of trouble blow, And shadows fall, I start to slow. For love, you see, is not the same, When tied to terms, a fragile flame. It's built on what you do or say, On perfect steps along the way. A love that bends to circumstance, A love that only holds if chance. Yet deep inside, a longing grows, For love that stays, no matter lows. For conditional love, though it may gleam, Is never as whole as what we dream.

Sacred Love
In quiet moments, hearts align, A love that's pure, a love divine. Beyond the flesh, beyond the form, A sacred bond, both safe and warm. It whispers soft in morning light, And shields the soul through darkest night. No need for words, no need for show, For in this love, the spirit flows. It lifts the heart, it stills the mind, In sacred spaces, love we find. A timeless thread, a holy vow, It lives within the here and now. Unshaken by the world's embrace, It blooms in every sacred space. A gift from realms we cannot see, Sacred love, eternally free.
