Love poems for hopeless romantics; I'm the poet and you're my muse.
I wept for signs. Then, by the moonrise, I saw you bat your starlit eyes * -Gina C. 🧚🏻‍♀️✨

Upon our island smiles fade as salty splashes wash away hope, rising us to harboured truths Wading within gritty futures, always believing sunsets bring sunrise in roses

There’s a blue bird in my heart, it’s wants to come out. But can I handle the songs it will sing, I’m not sure so I keep it cage up deep within me. Theres a blue bird in my heart, it pulls on my strings and wants me to sing its songs of love and grief. Blue birds are magical and deep, sometimes I want to fly and sing. But I keep the blue bird locked deep inside of me . For it knows songs of my soul I’m not ready to sing. There’s a blue bird in my heart who is waiting on me to let it free. Maybe I will one day, let it free, let it sing, let it be. I’ll always have blue birds deep inside of me.

The sky between us is still love—connected—like sunlight kissing moon * -Gina C. 🧚‍♀️✨ * Author’s Note: Once upon a time, I wrote a haiku for the Blue Haiku Challenge that I really, really loved, called "Water & Sky".
Hearts awaken slow Modeled after some old dreams Floating on a cloud
In the shadows of a fleeting day, Hope lingers where the heartbeats sway. Each tear and smile, a thread we weave, In the tapestry of dreams we believe.

In quiet moments, soft and clear, A heartbeat whispers, drawing near. Through tangled paths of joy and pain, Love's gentle touch will bloom again.
In the silence of the night, I whisper your name, So close yet so distant, like a moth to a flame. Our story unfolds, a tapestry unwritten,
