heartbreak
They can break your heart, but they can't break your soul; poetry about lost love that comforts and uplifts.
Nameless Graves
They lie beneath the soil no name, no stone, no dates to mark when they began or when they ended. Just dirt, just time, just absence. The wind passes over but doesn’t stop. The world keeps moving as if they never stood in it. No flowers left behind. No candle burning. No voice to speak their truth. Were they mothers? Fathers? Children who never grew old? Dreamers whose dreams were stolen too soon? They had names once. Laughed once. Cried, loved, feared, hoped. Now, only echoes remain soft, invisible, weightless. But I see them. I feel them in the quiet places where no one looks. I write so their silence is not the end. So their stories don’t vanish like smoke in wind. Nameless but never forgotten.

The Apologies I Never Heard
They never said they were wrong. Not once. Even when their silence cut deeper than anything they spoke aloud. Even when I stood in the middle of the storm they made alone, drenched, and forgotten. I kept waiting for a message, a glance, a whisper anything that sounded like sorry. But pride is louder than guilt in some hearts. And I? I broke without making noise. They’ll say they cared. They’ll say they didn’t mean it. But they won’t say they were wrong. So I carry the apology they never gave folded in the corners of my memory. It’s not justice. It’s not closure. But it’s mine. And sometimes that’s all we get.
