Vibrantly singing I am displayed but briefly Our seasons, fleeting

Fire from heaven sits Among the trees singing praise For we are silent
Dogging Summer’s steps Autumn’s curtain ushers in Winter’s wonderland. * Apologies to exuberant Spring for excluding her! Sadly, I was one line short of squeezing her into this Falling Leaves Challenge!

Maple crowns burning, a brief blaze before the cold, ash of summer’s fire.

Rustle, then stillness, a single leaf breaks away gravity’s soft hymn.
Frost kisses the ground, scarlet drift becomes silence, winter waits unseen.
Amber confetti, a slow dance across the sky, season’s last embrace.
Each leaf a farewell, fluttering on borrowed light, softly into night.
Golden flames descend, branches sigh in empty breath, time folds into dusk.
Crimson leaves whisper, wind scatters them like secrets earth keeps memory.
Red, yellow, orange Leaves falling from lovely trees Oh, how beautiful
