Before the chill of Fall and after the thaw of Spring.

The day swelters and the evening wind blow.

The chimes of wedding bells begin to ring.

And sun-kissed skin starts to glow.

You whisper secrets that have never been told.

Place Baby's breath in my hair.

As our hands caress and our arms hold.

Exchanging kisses with gentleness and care.

This is how I remember you most.

Cool droplets of sweat on your brow.

Drinking sweetness after elaborate toasts.

While applauding ourselves and taking a bow.

Celebrating our love until Summer's end.

When our hearts hibernate until we meet again.
