Sweet Invaded

A poem.

Delight in the awful truth coming to light

That we are not without understanding

Dishing out servings of pain to that of your delight

Beneath the watchful eyes of lady peace demanding

Rememberance of such sweet and innocent years

Torn from the world below the rulers strange lands

Let now the world examine itself through our greatest fears

Taking a piece of itself into its own trembling, youthful hands

For they do not know to turn the other way

None before them have been tested so well

Watching them march on the road to a debt they'll pay

As they serve up their own and unyielding type of hell

Inside them yearns the need for retribution unkind

Their pains spread across them like a great plague

And inside them grows an evil that rots the mind

Nothing of their futures remains remotely vague

Never unto thee shall they truly be again whole

Once committed to the brutal truth of their path they walk

Torn from deep inside their very soul

They learn what all must, there comes a time for no more talk

A tool for them to use at their discretion

Of their own volition they must decide

For even he can't control their final direction

Hoping they know, from their decisions they cannot hide
