Sweaters in September
Normally hot as I remember
Not sure what was going on this time around
But nothing new could be found
It felt cold even from the ground
Hoping it would get better
Maybe we need to talk about the weather
Everybody walking around ready for summer
They never looked dumber
A storm broke and you could hear the thunder
It was like the spring had done a runner
Knowing it was not yet summer
The season had never been wetter
Now everybody was trying to be clever
Wearing sweaters in September
