Mysteries and legends too

Treasured gold hidden

This poem is about the Superstition Mountains that are only a small distance from my home. They have captured the imagination of many writers, and there are legends aplenty including the legend of the Lost Dutchman gold mine. Part of the mountains includes a rock chimney called Weaver's Needle that supposedly points the way to the mine. One cool fact about the Superstition Mountains is that twice a year, in March and September there is a shadow that appears that looks like a cougar chasing its prey.

I hope you liked my poem. Tips, subscriptions, and pledges are always welcome.
