Sunshine

Visions of shades

By Paulina CarvajalPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

On a blue February afternoon,

it was after several dreams

when I noticed our sun has set,

for I discovered a graveyard in my mind.

.

Silently laying on the brass straight chair,

I howled at the ghostly visions of our erratic future,

and hearing the brand-new clock ticked ---

asking herself, if it was time that we needed.

.

Now, night has arrived with its coal black companion,

and everyone have found their safe niche,

where the fool and the wise played wicked tricks

into the prism of my eyes.

.

As I walked once again inside my head,

the empty conscience awaits patiently, she thought,

I will wait for the vivid red sunshine

to hang above my bed, a celebration of existence.
