A weaken soul
Gives way to a paralysis.
A despair that can no longer wait,
I surrendered.
The way one surrenders to a sunset,
We all yearn for it to last a bit longer.
The thought lingers,
But night falls to moonlight.
The faint warmth from the day finally collapses
Giving way to darkness-the chill of the night.
The deep anxiety of which we can not see.
All that’s left is the remanence of that day,
A sunset that will never be.
Hoping to feel its gentle warmth that once caressed beyond the skin and deep into the unseen.
