Suns Got My Back

its got all of me

By Brenton FPublished 2 years ago Updated 2 years ago 1 min read

i've got the sun

on my back

and its

warming my bones

stewing any marrow

i might have

in me in them

my spine

alive in the sun

every nerve

a slow burning

every nerve

a glow yearning

this radiated warmth

of a warming radiation

has passed through

the harshness

the vastness

of both

time and space

to warm my back

bringing life and

bringing light

to warm my back

bringing heat and

bringing bright

to warm my back

and everything

out of sight

quintessentially tight

feeling really good oiright

angling dangling in the light

not welcoming any night

bathing in a healing bright

oh to behold a similar sight

and then a cloud

i’ve got the sun

on my side

as its drifts

in it's arc

warming my angles

my profile

my side

it drifts

i move

to absorb it all

a reflective refreshment

a restorative refueling

merely a mental

dry dock retooling

the sides got the sun

or the suns got my side

i twist and i pivot

i stretch and i glide

i hover i hold

i reach and i ride

i quiver i shake

i teach i imbibe

i
