Sunrise I Am

An original poem by Sari

Hinterland Overlooking Gold Coast, Australia, May 2021

No body, every body, some body, any body,

I breath and chant my morning mantras.

A unique and unrepeating miracle,

I relax, engage, and open chakras.

Standing silently here in the darkness still,

Our magnificent colour palette not yet revealed.

Unannounced, your crimson fires burst forth,

My centre engages, I’m awakened and healed.

No thing, every thing, some thing, any thing,

I am conscious of posture, core straight and tall.

Tangerine, lilac, pink and yellow sent to soothe and thrill,

My aura expands and melds with it all.

The main event unfolds with such grandeur and glory,

Clouds sashay by sprinkling silver and gold.

Dazzling colours emerging with names yet unknown,

My consciousness eternal, my story still untold.

With delicious anticipation, I patiently wait,

As your first luminous rays announce your arrival.

Hues unimaginable, light playing with all that is,

Deep in gratitude waves, I am blessed with revival.

I close my eyes, fluttering to savour the moment,

And smile, inspired in awe, at your entrance.

I glance only briefly at your brilliant, white light,

Through my third eye, I experience reverence.

I bask in your beauty, magnificent and sacred,

Heart vibrating love, senses delighted.

Higher you rise bringing out blues and the greens,

Body enlivened, my soul soars enlightened.

Today I decide, is a watercolour, unicorn day,

Resplendent, unlimited, a total blank sheet.

No one, every one, some one, any one,

All colours of the sunrise, I am sublimely complete.
