Sunflower makers

A yellow poem

You brought me to life, the makers

Estranged, entailed, odd creators

Love made two out of two, duos

Letting the sunshine settle

Over through the windows

Warm and welcoming but

Parting, fading, wasting

Deceived dreams

Changed yet strangely the same

Close enough

But too far away

Fresh sunflower seeds

Nurtured with love

Learning for love

Yearning to understand

To become

Just enough for us

There were yellow flowers in your hair

They used to be there

Now, no more

No longer

Eyes wandering through distant seas

Thoughts are still there

But where?

Just enough

Not enough

Already enough

You always were

My everything

Stuck in a tangent

Life parted us

Away

Shineless eyes

But I still think of you

Everyday
