The joy goes on and on
Sunflower fields
Are a joy and a delight
Increasing feel-good endorphins
When they appear in our sight
Nature's compass for faith and hope
Chasing the sunlight all of its days
Remaining grounded
As a field of them bends and sways
Always looking upward
Toward the source of their power
Strength is gained
Through every hour
Thriving on our brightest star
Strong in upward mobility
Bending but not breaking
Resilient with agility
In the midst of wind and rain
Gloriously they stand
United to produce
Peace and joy in the land
Hillsides sing with their song
Radiating immeasurable pleasure
Sunflower fields forever
They are truly a national treasure
