Sundays
A poem about Sundays
On Sunday dawn,
serenity awakes,
a day to savor,
the soul’s sweetest taste.
*
Sitting in a park
leisurely picnicking
laughing with loved ones
feeling relaxed.
*
A respite from life’s
perpetual race,
where time unravels
at a gentle pace.
*
The warm air,
with the trees swaying,
serenely peaceful,
sweetly lazing.
In golden hues,
the sunlight cascades.
A tapestry of peace,
in quiet shades.
*
A moment stolen
from life’s demanding grip,
where dreams bloom freely,
hearts find their skip.
*
Sunday whispering stories,
long untold.
Embracing laughter
as memories unfold.
*
A sanctuary for rest,
sweetening our day.
A cherished pause
before Monday’s array.
*
So let us seize
Sunday’s grace,
embrace its blessings,
a cherished space.
