One day Sun decided to teach Moon,
Said dear darling Moon I will empower you with knowledge which will make you shine,
You will shine so brightly that people will love you,
Moon began to shine and people loved its beauty,
Sun was powerful but kind hearted,
People worshipped Sun,
But after sometime Moon got proud of it's ravishing beauty,
Moon said sun I don't need you now,
Sun got angry and went away,
When Moon couldn't shine,
It could clearly see blemishes on itself,
Moon got full of grief,
It said sorry Sun and requested forgiveness,
Sun being great and kind-hearted,
Gave Moon it's shine back,
Moon felt thankful and blessed,
And said,
Dear Sun, you are the only best one.

The difference between light and dark could be as quick and simple as a flip of a switch, the drawing of a curtain, the opening of one’s eyes. It could be more gradual like the slow adjustment of the diaphragm on a microscope, the turn of a planet on its axis, the growing light as you approach the end of a tunnel. A flicker in the dark, a steady glow in the distance, a flash in the night sky.
