And whatnot. To wanton, both lewd and malicious,

Ambitions of politicians, puppeteers, and muppets.

Another havoc summer. Snippets of good days,

Bad days, memories from childhood, youth, or

Just the other week—hitting a bar, and lightning

Traversing the sky. Look up. Hand-woven tapestries,

Mouth-weaved travesties. Controversial opinions thrown

Into the sweltered air. Sweat drip-dripping

From foreheads and armpits. High UV indices

And asphalt fumes assaulting our senses.

Somersaulting into tomorrow.

May it bring rain and some good news.
