How old were you when you found your calling?
Bright eyed, doe eyed, so young yet so damn smart.
Lip trills, tongue twisters and homesick bawling
Playtime is everytime, so let's make art.
Cross pinkies with me, I swear this is fun!
Down the rabbit hole, sprinkle pixie dust!
3 o'clock is here and the day is done,
"Until tomorrow!" you said, smiling just.
Slide, slide, slippery slide into my heart,
Imagination and giggles supreme.
You are crying like you were in the start.
Wave goodbye until next year it may seem.
You taught me more than a bachelor's degree,
Children are the best teachers, you agree?
