Before he knew it, he was at the counter, clutching a box of imported chocolates and a bag of caramel chews. “What happened to ‘no sugar, no problem’?” Danny asked, smirking.
Terry sighed. “I’m weak.” “You could just stop buying it,” Danny said, shrugging. “It’s not that easy,” Terry said. “It’s like my brain shuts off when I see candy.”
Danny laughed. “You need an intervention, dude.” That night, Terry made a decision. He couldn’t trust himself around sweets, so he needed to take drastic action. He grabbed his savings jar and counted out $300. Then he handed it to his mom.
