Here We Go Again

Once again her life was just as it was before.

Stuck with very few options as she desired so much more.

But what could she do, other than pay her dues a little at a time.

Her sentence was over but she felt as if she was still paying for the crime.

Ready to be on her own and do her own thing... and yet...

Once again trapped with little to no options other than wait.

A game she has played before that she has begun to hate.

My god, what would it take for her to finally get ahead.

To finally fall asleep and night and not feel a sense of dread?

Would it happen someday or were her dreams too much

She swears not, but lately everything feels so far out of touch

Well, not much else to do but work hard and wait

She was growing restless but still holding out for fate!

So dear Universe please hurry up and let her find her way

Life is so tiresome and getting in the way!
