Stuck (a poem)

Stuck in my head

By ReynaPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read

im stuck

I dont fit at all

I keep everything to myself

I never showed them the real me

And if i told them the truth

They wouldnt believe me

If i told them the truth

They would leave me

Its all in my head

My thoughts

My mind is just a echo chamber

It all is kept inside

And the pressure is building up

Like a ticking time bomb

I feel empty

Yet i feel so full

Words cut my tongue like a razor blade

Yet they come from people, oh so dull

I was an outcast

From kindergarten to school

I never fit in, and i never was cool

I thought they liked me, i was a fool

Its all in my head

I want out

Is it me? Is it them?

I feel disgust, i feel anger, i feel sadness

I cant let these words out

My true self is only inside of my head

Wether it be my opinions on life

Wether it be my opinions on death

And these thoughts will stay inside,

Til my very last breath

sad poetry
