Writers block

My mind has gone blank

As I stare straight at it

No words are coming out

as I scribble away for hours

No ink has been found, in this snow white paper, it’s as if it has disappeared

Into thin air

I should already have five pages written

but I am stumped.

My imagination, has gone to know where

What is happening

Why can I not think

Why can I not think

of anything creative to say

Have I, lost my creative side

Of my brain

Will I get it back

Or am I doomed

For good

I’ve lost the willingness to write

After hours off distracting myself

Then coming back to my hard wooden desk and cold chair and still

Nothing

As I crumble, a million balls of paper

And throw it and it goes on to the floor

With the other millionth pieces of paper I have thrown

The barrier

of bad news

for I can not write the story to be told

For I have writers block

fact or fiction

About the Creator

Jennifer lindquist

I’ve always had a interest in poetry since I took a creative writing class in high school. Writing poetry is my safe place where I can either get positive or sometimes negative energy out by my writing of poetry.
