A Poem

Silence.

It fills the room.

You try to speak.

But nothing comes from it.

Everything is too much.

All you can do is sit at your desk and stare at the screen.

The house is a mess.

You sip your coffee.

You try to get your day started.

People around you do their routines.

Going through the motions feels like the weight of the world.

Things have lost their color.

No one knows how you really feel.

You can't.

The words are not there.

They fail you.
