They say I look threatening

Some say I look frightening

But when they take to listening

Some say my story is quieting

Others say inspiring

How I've been able to keep surviving

After being through experiences that are so paining

Now I cope by painting

As I can no longer go cycling

As many years ago when I was running

Out in the path when it was raining

In one second with no fighting

I was struck by lightning
