Exposed.

Every petal was torn away from the rose.

Suspicions constantly arose.

Sense of self they try to erode.

.

Unwavering,

Deadlocked forever.

Incapable of being a pretender.

When will they see they can’t render?

.

Endurance.

We’re getting stronger,

While they summon their hoops.

We will not take this any longer.

.

Fighters.

We are steadfast.

We are survivors, future thrivers.

Our hearts are determined to outlast.

.

Ours.

Our hearts, our moment, our story.

Our day is coming.

We will have our moment of glory.

.

United.

We’re stronger together.

Now we’ve nearly reached the end,

It’s time to return their evil to sender.

.

Triumph.

Soon, we can begin anew.

The past is the past, there’s no way to undo.

Tomorrow is another day, shiny and new.

.

Healing.

The only way to reconcile all we went through.

We shall mend our broken pieces,

Allow the light of the future to renew.

. . .
