Sticky sweet summer air,

Longer days and shorter nights.

A strawberry moon; so sweet and fair.

Lovers revel in her blushing light.

Enchantment seen through a rose hue;

The night brings mystery and magic.

Revealed only to a selected few.

To be blind to her is tragic.

Will you take the risk to know?

The chance may not live til day.

To find the secret of her glow.

Whispered Wisdom is her way.

Ripeness of strawberries are short-lived;

Let us learn to take chances.

Don’t miss the opportunity that she gives.

In her glow love prances.

The month of June is her terrain,

When the heat of day is long.

Under the cover of summer rain,

Kiss her before she’s gone.
