Of all the times

She smiled up at the sky

Blond hair and hazel eyes.

Tell me a story

Of all the times

She cried

And of all the times

Those pages caught her tears.

Tell me of the girl

Who hid away,

So very far away

So deeply afraid

To spread her wings and fly away.

Tell me a story of the girl

Who hid in between the pages of the books

Because they gave her life.
