Stop Trying So Hard

I don’t need to prove myself

to you.

I don’t need to share every detail

every morsel of my Vitality

with your Narcissistic brain drain.

You don’t know me like that.

I don’t need you like that.

It’s never going to be about me

when all your efforts are about

You.

How many others have you now

burned out?

How many more,

much collaterol.

You cruise on the backs of

those whom you take

Take, take, take.

It’s never enough. It will never be

Enough.
