Stones Sleep Still

Each unique...I wish they'd speak....

Nocturnal Nobody

Skeletal Scatter

Why sleep eludes me

Has ceased to matter.

Bleed without pain

Cry without Tears

Hurricane days

Build Tornado years

Brilliantly sinking

Swan-Diving Diamond

Incendiary glint

Crimefully fading

There

you

go.

Slim to None

Dim to Done

Hidden Jewels

Impress No one.

Eldest river tumbled rock

Smooth stroke stoned

Skipped back home

Flagrant rippling flawless concentrics

Slapped Specular Surface

er’wise to all men’s tricks

Mother’s minerals turbidly tossed

Return to your stream

Never be lost

Body of water

won’t die as mine will

mortality mirrored

Your current still.

Silken Solid Stone

Cool brackish scent

Back into your bed you’re thrown

to rest in sediment

Swirling fall

Birds they call

you home

Joyous Descent.

Pardon the intrusion

Human disillusion

Truly,

No Harm Meant.
