Still Standing

She never fell.

She walked on the edge of yesterday, her balance was off centered, yet she never fell.

Her life was in a disarray, her heart had betrayed her once again, yet she never fell.

Her mind spun in countless circles, her vision had now become blurred, yet she never fell.

Her body ached from the last beating she had endured, her soul bruised and battered worse than before, yet she never fell.

Her tears felt like lava in her eyes, her chested heaved as she let out a slight cry, yet she never fell.

Her warm touch was now becoming icy, her walls were under repair, yet she never fell.

Her faith had now become weak, her lips were sealed shut unable to speak, yet she never fell.

Her dreams had become a cycle of nightmares, everywhere she looked no form of peace appeared, yet she never fell.

Her mistake was giving her heart to a man, that gave his heart to another and held another’s heart in his other hand….

YET SHE NEVER FELL!!
