Static voice

Get through

Speaking my words come out static

And I don’t really know what to do

Inside the picture is clear

But I can’t get the message out to you

Can you relate? when words just…

You blink and just come back confused

You try to reach out for help

But nothing you think seems to get through

The inside of you is so vivid

So many colors and a library of feelings

If I could write them all out

Books that stack up to the ceilings

But I open my mouth

And nothing comes out

It’s all just like static

Communication, an empty dusty attic
