Stare at the Moon!

1965 was the year you did arrive,

2007 was the year you didn't survive,

each day I look up to the sky,

guess it's my way of saying goodbye,

No one knew of the bond that we had,

the loss of you still makes me sad,

25th November the date you went away,

each year that day is still very grey,

i'm hoping that you're happy up there,

to me it feels like people no longer care,

there are still days where I fight back tears,

while others sit back and party with beers,

given half a chance I would bring you back,

instead of looking at your name on a plaque,

I can't wait to see you again soon,

but till then i'll sit and stare at the moon!
