Faux darling days set ablaze
Intoxicatingly potent flaming maze
Doves disguised like candied lies
My shine; my glimmer neutralized
Wicked games; fervid flames
No real truth; just counterfeit claims
Stung by the tip of your venomous blade
Ambushed by your cruel charade
Sharp words puncture; poison dart
Toxic concoction; ripped me apart
Bitter moments vaporized
Blistering images crystalized
Singed in my mind; etched in my eyes
Erosive tears fall and fossilize
Caustic disputes; cataclysmic clash
Reduced to ash in a fiery flash
Scatter wildly through the trees
Feasting on the frigid breeze
Eager stars lie in wait
The hungry sky dilates
Starving; singing its siren song
Begging for remnants of love gone wrong
Your sour lips; vicious vile lust
Sentenced to tangle with the twinkling stardust.

I know I need to reread this because every word carries such weight that I can't comprehend everything I just took in after one time. Awesome rhyming by the way, I long to write like that.
