Standing in the sunshine

Where truth doesn't die

Feeling the rain soak through

Where lies reign true

Would you set me on fire

Light my whole world up

Would you fan the embers

When I'm burning out

When did I go wrong

Where did I get turned around

Rain and fire, don't let me down

Quench me and help me burn

Would you set me on fire

Light my whole world up

Would you fan the ember

When I'm burning out.

Would you hold my hand

Would you set me on fire

Make the whole world a liar

Brand my heart and ease my mind

Is there fire in your eyes

Let it blaze and burn my sight

Stop this ole soul from dying

In the darkness of this night

Would you set me on fire

Light my whole world up

And fan the embers

Cause I'm burning out
