Square Eggs

Sitting here wondering why eggs are the shape they are

Imagine them being some other shape 

Maybe they could fit different packaging 

Perhaps they would be more rectangular 

But either way you could put them in a square box 

They would look different to now

Would they still be called eggs?

Might have to watch the corners 

Just a novelty idea perhaps 

They could be a bit scrambled 

Or perhaps poached 

But I wonder if they would still taste the same 

Perhaps they could change the game 

Or even the name 

If you ever get the chance and don't think it is lame and just for a change you might want to try square eggs
