Spring Jest
A comedic sneeze
Spring Jest
4/26/09
Though it is quite cliché,
To rhyme and be cheery,
On this bright spring day
I shall give in and be merry.
Pollen in the air,
Colors abound,
My nose is flared
Allergy meds unfound.
Stop and smell the roses,
The bees are buzzing by.
Rivers of phlegm from our noses,
This allergic state makes me high.
The warmth all around
With birds coming back,
Here love is abound
And rain is not lacked.
But though I jest
And try my best
I cannot help but give my reason
As to why I hate this blooming season.
