Pedestrians

I don't see them everywhere, mostly just in cities.

Pedestrians.

That group of friends eating on the outdoor patio, the coupling window shopping that thrift store; those people.

Before I can give them a second glance, the car begins to move; it's a green light.

No time to look.

No time to glance.

No time...

Am I ever a pedestrian?

Rarely.

Sometimes I wish I could just go into a city and wander. See what's around, meet new people, make new friends, start an adventure.

Maybe one day I'll run into a cute guy at some cool underground club and we'll talk for hours...

But I'll crawl before I walk.

One day...

I have autism and like pizza... And I hugged a guy once.

"Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity."
