Spoken Minds

The times you speak before thinking about what you are saying. When you wish you could take back those words that just exited your mouth. The unspoken words right along with it.

I speak before I think.

Sometimes it makes sense, and sometimes it doesn't.

There's one thing I know for sure.

I hold back for no one, that's for sure.

When the words exit my mouth.

It's too late to change them now.

There are times it's good.

And times it isn't pleasant.

The one thing I now know.

I need to think before I speak.

It hurts everyone's feelings.

Everyone but mine.

Sometimes I think damn.

Those words were mine.

Whether good or bad.

It's up to you.

Just know when they exit my mouth.

They are true!

Just as the sky I see is blue.

And the trees are green.
