Buckle up.
It's a bumpy ride
In this seat here next to me.
You knew it,
I knew it,
We knew it,
And took the leap anyway.
But as broken people,
We broke each other more and more;
Again and again.
But we laughed,
We loved,
We enjoyed the small things.
Now how do we heal?
How do we forgive?
How do we move forward?
Looking back at the past,
Pondering the future,
We seem...inevitable.
Symbiotic.
Destined to be.
Intertwined at our core.
Two halves of one whole.
Made for each other.
And nothing will ever quite do again.
So...
Can I keep you?
So I can kiss you whenever I want.
